Ever have one of those power failure or trip in electric supply at home or in work place?
Where it happen when you least expected and totally wash away all your unsave data?
Sigh...
My house have a long history of this sort of power surge...
Losing data had already been a common practise for me, thus developing a habit of saving every now and then... Or simply don't do too many too important stuff with my com...
Now as you know, this sort of power surge is able to more damage to electronic stuff than just a simple lost of memory... My com have had experience surge so powerful it resets my processor, luckily the hard drive wasn't affect thou...
Sadly, the last series of major power surge kills quite a few of my dad's fishes and my monitor...
Seemingly hopeless as the warranty expire eons ago, i decide to purchase a new monitor, burning yet another hole in my savings...
Problem didn't stop there...
As i forgot to take account for the age of my com, i soon release the 22" wide screen LCD monitor is too powerful for my graphic card (its nearly 7years old, it's already a blessing considering its still booting)...
Current using my dad's monitor while i 'loan' him my new monitor...
(Ironically, his com is able to use it...)
A very classic example of 'acting too clever for my own sake'...
I need a new com... T-T
