PS: I love you...

Ok, so thats not the most original title in the world and i'll probably get my ass sued should anything goes wrong...
So...

Anyway, as miracle as it sounds, i, Jack Tan, did the impossible...
venture through the darkest route, conquer the most dangerous obstacles and face to face with my greatest fear...

I read a book...

You may laugh, you may...
but coming from someone who took 5years to finish 'Jurassic Park' (read 3 pages, fell asleep, woke up and totally forget what i've read, flip back 2 pages, continue read 3 pages, repeat... and to make it worse, i actually skip quite a few chapter too =P), its quite a grand acomplishment for me...


Well, no price for guessing what i read, the movie is coming out soon this Valentine Day, 'PS: I love you' is worth reading...
for those who don't know yet, here's a simple intro: its bout a widow who while grefing over her dead husband, received letters which he had planned before he left, guiding her step by step to getting back onto her feets and live life again...

to tell the truth, i've never intend the read any book, let along this, since... err... secondary? (i'm not good with books ok? besides, my sleeping problem ain't the most helpful with it...)
but something hit me the last time when i watch 'Shrek 2'...
Shrek is complaning over how insencitive his new father-in-law is and throwing tantrum bout wanting to head back home... Thats when Fiona exclaim: think bout how much i've change for you...

My dear have change alot over the years; some good, some bad, some takes longer than expected and some still need some work...
quite frankly i couldn't ask for more (give and take...), but there is something which i really wish she would do for me... Help me play some games which i really need a partner in...

Thinking back at what Fiona said, i believe is did my fare share of work as her boyfriend in taking care of her, guiding and helping her through her rough times in school, paying for all our expenses, providing the listening (deaf) ear for her to rant about her lousy day... i even learn to pick up those girly stuff so we have more topic to talk about...
But one thing i failed is that i haven't able to read like she does... always thinking she'll explain it to me if i really so keen to know, or somehow the theater version would appear and we'll catch it together (wishing she would do the same for my macho guy movie)...

But this time, she insist she'll sit out this movie, thinking the movie won't able to capture the magic of the book (i agree)...


If i can't share the movie with you, i'll read to book to share the magic too...
Dear, this is my greatest 'change' i've ever done to for you...
